Space Legacy

Pitch

Space legacy is a fast FPS in a dungeon procedurally generated on Unity.
The team of the game consists of 5 progammers and 4 artists.
It is a student project carried out in 2017.

My role :

I’ve been working on the enemies in the game.
Decision making, movements and interactions with the player.

The behaviour of the enemies was intended to be simple and effective for the player to
quickly understands what their actions are and then rushes into action.
The decision system uses the nested finite state machine algorithm.

We wanted to have a dynamic gameplay.
To achieve this, we have decided to have fast monsters that walk on the walls and everywhere in the environment.
The crab monster can walk on all the elements of the scenery and jump on the player.


We also wanted to force the player not to stand still or move in a straight line.
He had to be agile and avoid enemies while shooting them.
Monsters shooting from a distance anticipate the player’s movements
